Overview

Many small teams rebuild the same spreadsheet every week to answer the same few questions. We agree the definitions first, connect the dashboard directly to your source systems, and refresh it every day with a visible timestamp. A monthly summary goes out by email on its own, so the people who need the numbers get them without asking.

What is included

• A short definitions document for every figure on the page, agreed before anything is built

• One dashboard with up to ten core figures, connected to your source systems

• A daily refresh with the time of the last update shown on the page

• A monthly report sent by email to the people you choose

How it works

1. We list the questions you ask each week and agree how every figure is calculated.

2. We connect the sources, build the page, and check the numbers against a month you already know well.

3. We review the dashboard with your team after two weeks of use and adjust anything that is unclear.

Typical timeline

3 to 4 weeks from the definitions meeting to a dashboard in daily use.

Questions

Which tool do you build the dashboard in?

Usually a reporting tool you already have access to, or a simple hosted page when that is easier. You own the dashboard and the data connections after handover.

What if the dashboard does not match our own numbers at first?

That is common and useful. We trace each difference back to its source, agree with you which figure is correct, and record the rule in the definitions document.
